hehe, this is the one that I can tell is going to cost me another couple of weeks of being nice to Petra (she's mad, I made her look old)...just finished it about half an hour ago, it's still wet. Good old Mum said she looks like she's got a bit lump on the side of her head...SIGH. What are family for, if not to reinforce your ego?
Luckily Mum said that today and not yesterday, otherwise the surprise Birthday party I threw her last night might have been compromised...
Made a great (if I may say so myself) Hummingbird cake while she and Dad were out, put up a stack of balloons and made a great big banner! The best bit (obviously, for all you who know about my mastery of anything vocal) was when I recorded Happy Birthday on the piano and walked out with the cake, singing at the top of my lungs....I bet you're all devastated you missed it! Don't worry, just ring me up, I'll give you a personal rendition...if you're lucky.
